The growing social interest in landscape seems to be accompanied by a rise of its presence in the territorial policies of public administrations. However, at leats in Andalucia, such interest has not meant a higher knowledge of the landscapes in this community by citizens. As a result, it is necessary to make an effort to increase its presence in the different syllabus of the educational system. For this purpose the landscape must be included in teaching and, taking advantage of its transversal and motivational potencial, turned it into a real open book of signifi cant learning, innovative and active. The proposal of several teaching itineraries through different andalusian landscapes represents the best argument of such approaches.
