Resumen
En 1987, Moshe Amirav inició negociaciones secretas no oficiales con intelectuales palestinos del interior para llegar a un acuerdo común sobre un borrador de memorando que ratificarían sus líderes. Los encuentros se prolongaron durante todo el verano y dieron lugar a un documento conjunto por el que se establecían los principios generales de paz entre los dos pueblos. Sin embargo, este borrador no llegó a ratificarse, provocando serias consecuencias para sus artífices. El llamado popularmente por la prensa el plan Amirav-Husseini se convertiría en modelo para las negociaciones internacionales posteriores entre Israel y Palestina
