Abstract
In recent years, scientific interest in the generation of knowledge between automated artificial intelligence (AI) processes and social services has increased. This article presents a systematized review of the existing literature between 2009 and 2024 on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on Social Services. It aims to examine and analyze both the potentialities and contributions as well as the limitations and challenges associated with AI in this field, with the purpose of providing a comprehensive view that facilitates its understanding and application. The review will focus on studies investigating the implementation of AI in Social Services, considering both theoretical and practical aspects. The results of the study include research that highlights the transformative potential of AI, as well as those that propose specific models for its effective implementation, paying special attention to the ethical, technical and practical challenges that arise with the incorporation of AI in this field. Finally, in the discussion section, a critical analysis of the data collected is carried out, assessing the implications of the findings and suggesting possible future trajectories for the implementation of artificial intelligence in Social Services.
