Abstract

The evident differentiation between objectives, experiences and adventures developed by migrant women and men (Trujillo &Almeda, 2017), needs to develop research on migration taking into account the gender perspective. With this article, we intend to know the treatment that has been done in the field in the last 15 years in European projects approved by the European Union. For this we have made the search of the information available in "CORDIS", using as descriptors 'Migration"'; 'Gender and migration'; 'Female migration' Although there has been a significant evolution, it is necessary to develop more research focusing on studying, not only migrations from a gender perspective, but also female migration, all from an integral and holistic view where contexts of origin, transit and / or destination are present
