Abstract
In Spain in the first third of the 20th century women were condemned to not to subvert the patriarchal dogma. Their freedom was reduced to the "exquisite femininity" model. Modern women, with the aesthetic and behavioural trasgressions needed, achieved new paths to understand, from a much more equal dimension, phenomena such as Bohemia, that now, among dense wafts of egipcian cigarrette smoke, showed a new clear and subversively seductive face.
