Abstract
This work is part of the research project entitled �International Relations between APEC, Latin American and European countries, with a special focus on International Research and Development Programs�. Its aim is to carry out the first case study within the abovementioned job, consisting in: analyzing current data on the internationalization process of the Pablo de Olavide University (UPO), knowing its current position with regards to the well-known Spanish and international rankings on teaching, research and innovation, and technological development, and generating an applicable empirical tool with indicators which enable to obtain a comprehensive and qualitative view for subsequent decision making with regards to the UPO internationalization strategy.
