Resum

The current research raises the necessity of integrating the gender perspective within the statistics and researches oriented towards the public transport mobility. It aims to shed light on this issue in order to make effective and real the gender perspective. The women are the main users of the public transport. Therefore, the planning and improvement have to be adapted to the women requirements. The supporting documents we based on are the 3/2007 Constitutional State Act of 22 March regarding the equality between men and women and the 12/2007 Constitutional Regional Act concerning the promotion of the equality between men and women in Andalusia. The specific articles are the article 20 and article 10 referring to Gender perspective statistics and researches. The aim is to analyze the different mobility studies and the public transport satisfaction level among users. We focused our research on the following study Definition of the mobility patterns in the public transport viewed from the gender perspective: gender impact factors in the public transport mobility". Study provided by the Regional Department of Public Works and Housing through the Directorate General of Transports. We choose this study since it was the unique study containing a gender perspective during the period under review.
