Abstract
Sports activities in the natural environment or sport tourism carry a high risk, for this reason we must have the qualified personnel, in order to guarantee a quality sports leisure service. The objective of this study was to know the conditions and current socio-occupational situation of the professionals of the sport tourism sector in the Andalusian region. The results of the present study seem to support the need for professional regulation at the state or autonomic level of the sport tourism, since we find a low qualified professional mostly male and with a clear orientation to self employment as freelance.
