Abstract

In this paper we carry out are vision of the literature according to the measure of poverty. We describe the historic evolution that the poverty hashad. We also show the dierent kinds of poverty line sorthres holds that we can use to assess the very complex phenomenon of poverty. Finally, we show the poverty indicators that several author shave introduced through the beginning of the twentieth century in order to analyse poverty an dine qualities.
