Abstract

The author of this article makes a reflection about the Specialized Social Education. This one treats a very changeable area of thinking and it is found in such places as youth centres, workshops, penitentiary centres, streets, etc. Its scope is extremely diverse and it moves throughout the specifically educational, the psychological and the social. One of the most important areas is about the minor ones and young ones. Underlining that these initiatives are most of the current socio-educational ones (youth centres, street education, concrete actions with helpless, miss-treated, drug addicts, etc), it would be interesting to pay the attention that it deserves to this specific dimension of the Specialized Social Education. This attention should be thought from an intervention with a twofold perspective: re-educational and preventive.
