Género y dirección frontera en relaciones interorganizativasestudio exploratorio de su influencia sobre los sistemas de control para la gestión de los canales de exploración independientes

Se obtuvieron 193 respuestas válidas, lo que representa una tasa de respuesta del 29,40% sobre la población objetivo y del 44,67% sobre la muestra objetivo. El 78,24% de los cuestionarios recibidos fueron remitidos por directores de exportación masculinos, procediendo de directoras el 21,76% de las respuestas. Estos datos son acordes a los suministrados para el 2007 por la Encuesta de Población Activa del Instituto Nacional de Estadística4 referidos a los porcentajes de los puestos de mandos intermedios y de dirección que no son de mediana y gran empresa desempeñados por mujeres en España (32%) y Andalucía (30%); asimismo, los porcentajes del estudio son similares a los informados por Quigley y Bingham (1995) relativos al puesto de dirección de ventas en el ámbito estadounidense. Por consiguiente, se consideran los porcentajes obtenidos en la muestra como representativos de la distribución de géneros en la población objeto de estudio.
