Abstract

In this article, we reflect on the need to train within the framework of the society of knowledge about the changes in attitude and methodology that we are facing at higher education from the adoption of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). We introduce the educational foundations of problem based learning, a proposal in which we have inspired our teaching practice. We ended up with a conclusion on the learning processes and models for acquiring knowledge and attitudes of faculty. This is a series of reflections from the teaching practice with students of Social Education. We propose based learning activity focusing on students, strategies of participation and sharing as alternatives to traditional teaching that encourages curiosity and a taste for knowledge and learning in our students.
