Abstract
In this paper we reflect on the power of collective action in relation to political transformations. To do this, we have focused on the notion of collective intentionality of the philosopher John Searle and some other authors who have analyzed the demands of citizens and the regenerative capacity of the emerging democratic. We conclude that there is no alternative to the legitimacy of political power if it is not granted by the people
