Abstract
Some chorologic comments about several species of the genus Carex are presented; the following new records are remarkable: C. diandra Schrank from the Spanish Pyrenees, which is the third positive Peninsular record, and C. demissa Hornem, which is newly recorded from Andalusia. Lastly, two taxa described by Sennen are typified.
