Resumo
There are few civil buildings remaining in Andalucía, as the casas tercias or casas de encomiendas, dating from the Late Middle Ages. Among them, there is the so called La Almona, in Guadalcanal (Seville), that belonged to the Order of Santiago. In the present time, it is a private property and it is in a very poor state of conservation. In this paper the existing documentation on this building is studied to know details about its history and construction. Finally, the building actual state is described in detail in order to promote its conservation.
