Résumé

Many empirical studies have been carried out to explore factors affecting students’ motivation and learning experience. Their final aim should be the consideration of new teaching techniques, more appropriate to the real needs of the students, but this is a difficult task because each subject or course requires different levels of various skills. In this paper, we analyze the particular case of the Faculty of Business at Pablo de Olavide University, in Seville. We perform several Statistical analyses over the students of the new degrees (1st and 2nd years) to check that gender and previous studies are relevant factors, and also to find out that the relation between quantitative subjects is worthy to be taken into account.
