Abstract
This research has been developed in three rural areas of the province of Málaga (Andalusia) characterized by concentrating the largest number of municipalities in the province, the lowest population density and the greatest degree of dispersion of this, plus difficulties mobility and communication. The objectives were to take stock of the implementation of the law of dependence at the level of community social services and establish recommendations. We analyzed statistical data SAAD (system dependency care). The application of the law strengthens the social role of community social services and makes clear the need to improve the design, organization and operation of these for better care of the dependent population
