Resumen

The aim of this work is to analyze the Andalusian economic structure using the Fundamental Economic Structure (FES) approach. This methodology allow us to improve the knowledge of the regional economy using social accounting matrices of Andalusia for the period between 1990 and 2010. Identifying patterns of relations between macroeconomic aggregates and transactions, and determining the stability and connectivity of every flow with the rest of the elements of the system. Finally, a classification and quantification of the inner core components is shown. The results provide evidence of a temporal FES in the Andalusian economy carried out, to a greater extent, by the tertiary sector.
