Abstract

Today, social problems such as homelessness are part of a complex and heterogeneous mapping where different factors and agents involved. Social intervention as an instrument of social science plays an important role in understanding the different “realities”. But these should be interpreted taking into account the perceptions of the protagonists. Otherwise, we may be playing practices that can become products of their own oppressions of the dominant hegemonies. In this article we reflect a model of action centered on the role of research subjects. In our case, we offer first-hand the speeches of a group of people homeless. To do this, we use techniques such as group discussion and theater pedagogy as means enabling the development and demonstration of these speeches. The first as appropriate to the group and social narrative of experiences that are usually silenced technique. The theater as a means of expression from the bodies present and significant. Both are tools that implement an ethics of representation from the democratic.
