Resumen

Synmetamorphic thrust nappes, related to the Los Reales Crustal Thrust within the Alpujarride Nappes, moved in an ENE or NE direction. A subsequent movement took place in a norther!y direction and large fold nappes were formed. Finally N and NW brittle · thrusting occurred, consistent with the Gibraltar Crustal Thrust and the N-5 convergence of Iberia and Africa
