Resumen

El reconocimiento de oportunidades emprendedoras (ROE) constituye uno de los hitos más relevantes del proceso emprendedor y está implícito en el desarrollo de innovaciones. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los factores que afectan a la capacidad de ROE de las spin-off académicas y su efecto sobre el desempeño innovador de estas empresas. Los resultados, obtenidos a partir de una muestra de 167 spin-off académicas españolas, ponen de manifiesto la relevancia de la percepción de los académicos, su experiencia emprendedora previa y las redes académicas e industriales. También indican que esta capacidad afecta al desempeño innovador de estas empresas.
