Abstract
Constitutive units of Alboran and Sudiberic Domains near Gibraltar Are are specified. The boundary between both domains results from a crustal scale westward transpressive thrust and superimposed low angle normal faults later developed. Thus most of the tecto. nic contacts presently observed are extensional in character.
