Abstract

School sports facilities are the ideal setting where students acquire the habits of physical activity, establishing Royal Decree 132/2010, of February 12, that they must comply with the safety and accessibility conditions determined by current legislation. Despite this, several previous investigations warn of non-compliance with these requirements (García-Unanue, Gallardo, Gil & Felipe, 2013, Gil, 2011, Lucio, 2003), being the objective of this study the analysis of those related to safety and accessibility of the indoor sports facilities of the ICSE (Institutes of Compulsory Secondary Education).
