Abstract
In this article politician - administrative ocer analyzes the process of gestation of a region of the southwest of the province of Badajoz in Estremadura (Spain) immediately after the new synergies developed along the last quarter of century, concluding that the projects and actions carried out from the di erent administrations, on a territory with a few socioeconomic and cultural specic characteristics, help to generate decisively identity.
