Resumen

This paper gives an approach to the Psychosocial Intervention from the Health Social Work due to the emergency generated by the Pandemic SARS-COV-2. From an approach of Crisis Intervention, the text defends the need to approach Emergency/Catastrophe situations from a psychosocial perspective. This concept is understood as the incorporation to the diagnosis of the intimate perceptions/dimensions, subjective and personal (psycho) and contextual, social and symbolic (social) that are present during this SARS-COV-2 pandemic. In the face of a global crisis never before known, the Psychosocial Intervention is offered as an essential tool to manage the complexity associated with the cognitive, behavioral, emotional, relational, farewell and mourning shock linked with the SARS-COV-2. The paper finally incorporates notes on crisis management by using the telephone interview. This technique is fundamental for the management of the complex conditions imposed by the pandemic, such as the case of social distance, risk of contagion and traumatic goodbyes. This paper aims to transfer to the professional forum the Psychosocial Intervention as a suitable technique for working in non-clinical contexts, where the social is very present.
