Resumen

This article provides an overview of the state of the art of research on distributed leadership (DL). It has led to an emerging stream of research that is of interest to researchers and academics.Also, is a new social and educative demands and response that need to be reform at all school level, these transformations must be promoted from within each school center. Here, the author described and covers a deep review of the literature between 1981 – 2021, the source data (312 articles) is derived from SCOPUS, and the use of Biblometrix Studio and VOSviewer.The terms and their clusters were illustrated on graphs and density maps were utilized. The author provides general recommendations and identify challenges for the incorporation of DL change in school’s management. The findings show that the literature refers explicitly to DL, there are a number of interesting insights in the theoretical articles. Concludes with recommendations for further multidisciplinary research at the intersection of the fields. in order to show the holistic landscape of this field.
