Impacto de las liberalización comercial de Marruecos sobre las exportaciones por regiones

Resumen

Este artículo analiza los efectos de la progresiva implantación de un acuerdo de libre comercio entre Marruecos y la UE sobre las exportaciones de las Comunidades Autónomas (CC.AA.) españolas a ese país. Para ello, estimamos una ecuación de gravedad con datos de las CC.AA. y ramas de actividad en el periodo 1999-2002. Como principal aportación metodológica, nuestro modelo incluye los aranceles aplicados por Marruecos sobre los bienes procedentes de la UE desagregados por ramas de actividad. Ello no sólo nos permite una mejor estimación si no también realizar simulaciones del desmantelamiento arancelario teniendo en cuenta el ritmo y cuantía en la reducción de los aranceles para cada rama de actividad y año.
