Abstract
In their book, Aspe and Jacqué, sociologists from the University of Marseilles, postulate that all those expert environmental development procedures (which are leading to a progressive scientification of the political, usually with concomitant disdain for inexpert viewpoints, phenomena consequent to what they describe as normalisation des pratiques sociales) constitute so many other expressions of the conversion of that environmental discourse, originally radically critical of the capitalist system, into the most elaborate and widespread ideology of contemporary urban culture, which ends up justifying the very system that was previously criticised.
