Abstract
Idanha-a-Velha, the ancient ciuitas Igaeditaronum and Late Antique bishopric of Egitania, features a significant and well-preserved 6th century episcopal ecclesiastical complex composed of multiple buildings that correspond to several chronological stages. It is being the subject of a multidisciplinary study conducted from several approaches with a variety of methodological resources. Yet, one of our methodological priorities was to apply the precepts of the building archeology and remote sensing.
