Abstract
This article takes into consideration several concepts of the heterodox economic thought, especially imperialism, dependency and the critic of the globalization process. These concepts are defined and developed in order to establish a relation between following aspects: the imperialism Marxist point of view, the theories of dependency of the 60’s and the 70’s, as well as the critical approaches about globalization in the XXI century.
