Structural modification of the semi-deciduous forest in Sierra del Rosario, Candelaria, Cuba is the result of human activity and of the impact of weather variables, thus it is an issue that deserves attention from policy makers in the territory. There were selected randomly and with the Bitterlich method individuals were plots wanted considering family, genus and species according to the strata. Furthermore the similarity index as long as the ecological importance of the species and the degree of disturbance of woody species was calculated. The results suggested that this deciduous forest heritage located in Sierra del Rosario Candelaria, urgently requires for sustainable recovery actions.
