In this article we will analyse the connection between the fields of Translation and Interpreting and International Trade. We will focus on the profile of the commercial translator and how they fit into the small and large companies located in Andalusia. These professionals in translation are currently trying to gain recognition within the international trade sector as they may well be among those candidates who are well prepared to meet the expectations. From this analysis, we aim to study closely the current situation within international trade, a sector in which translators� abilities are increasingly required.
