Résumé
In this analysis we intend to explore the role of emotions in the legitimization of post-democratic states, and its impact on the ideological disarmament of the social movements. To do so, we rely on a superfifi cial criticism of two sociological phenomena: "the culture of Fear" and the capitalist culture of competitiveness. But this is done not from the point of view of the power, but of its critics. We finally outline some of the psycho-sociological mechanisms that may explain how Power creates (induces) and controls negative emotions.
