Abstract

After the contemplation of a big variety of exhibiting spaces, and assuming the fact that museums are rarely neutral places to show pieces from cultural heritage, we will study in deep several examples in which Illusionism has been used to trick visitors. Among the proposed examples, we will find artistic installations, show-based exhibitions or spaces of educational nature. Consequently, we will make an appreciation of their value, as long as their adjustment to museum spots, to find resources in order to make exhibitions attractive places for visitors, within a responsible and professional practice.
