Abstract
TThis paper shows the preliminary results of a research project focused upon the Romanisation process in the Antequera Depression (Malaga, Spain). Specifically, this project aims to study the settlement patterns developed during the Iberian period (Vth to IIIrd century BC) and the Roman republican period (IInd and Ist century BC), and it is part of an on-going doctoral research on the Romanisation of the Roman province of Baetica.
