Zusammenfassung

This article describes the organization and results of an activity to promote an Active LifeStyle (ALIS) among the population througout Physical Education. Students, teachers and volunteers take Physical Education out into the streets and squares of towns and cities under the motto “Active LifeStyle for all and forever”. This activity, promoted by PE teachers supported by the Asturian Profesional Association of Physical Education with the help of schools and town halls aims to sum up more participants. After five editions, 28000 participants of 120 schools from Spain and other countries have shared PE on public open spaces increasing their time of practice and improving the social perception of the subject.
