Résumé

This paper deals with the use of a Virtual Learning Environment to optimize information management and communication among the individuals involved in the Practicum course. Firstly, an overview of how this course has been approached from the mid-20th century until the present in Spain. Finally, the results of a pilot study are presented, which was developed with Education students in the area of Physical Education. These results show the positive attitudes of students towards ICT and their views on its relevance within curricula. ICT promote the development of not only general competences, but also key skills, which enhances socio-personal and professional development.
