Abstract
This paper is regarding to the analysis of the main information about Roman domestic architecture in Augusta Emerita. Our aim is to make known the main aspects about the several rooms of residential spaces. In order to get a better comprehension the urban landscape of the Roman town, the analysis between house, areae, wall and the road network. The concept of roman housing that we understand like a dynamic and living entity. It means a continuum process of construction, restructuring, abandoning and, sometimes, renovation. This evolution through the time where a global vision that include architectural, decoration and material culture rest found define the essential of these buildings. Currently, the use of new technologies like Geographic Information System applies to Archaeology we will approach to the construction techniques, buildings material or the distribution housing inside the urban context.
