Resumen

This paper is the editors’ introduction to the volume. The editors discuss the bearing ofhuman biases on the social coexistence of different identities and the centrality of languageand narratives in intergroup relations. Postmonolinguism is suggested as an emerging socialand scholar worldview that can provide both insights and solutions for current world-widechallenges to a peaceful and thriving society. The papers included in this volume and theircontributions to that paradigm are then presented.
