This research studies the narratives of agroup of Andalusian teachers regarding theirexperience of remote teaching in a context ofconfinement, a product of the quarantinesgenerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Theworld is going through an unprecedentedtime in history, which means rethinking thepurpose of the school. The method wasqualitatively focused from a hermeneuticperspective with descriptive-dense scopes.Semi-structured interviews were applied to10 primary school teachers in Andalusia,Spain. The open and axial coding allowed toreduce the data with the program Atlas Ti,whose results allow to conclude the intenseteaching work that the teachers lived at theheight of the first wave of the pandemic, generating anxiety, tiredness and teacher'sdiscomfort. The findings indicate thatteaching in times of pandemic is anextraordinary personal and professionalchallenge for teachers, constituting amilestone that will not be forgotten in theirprofessional career and whole life.
