Resumo
The study of the city of Toledo requires to use interdisciplinary studies so you can end up with the specialised and restricted visions of the urban phenomenons. Studies from history, archaeology, geography, and botanic, who acted in an autonomous way, with no relation between them, with a difficult but very necessary colaboration between them. The new figure is the cultural landscapes which had been converted into a new way to understand the natural and historic patrimony, increasing the evidences that we use for define our cultural heritage. The importance of this has been increasing in the last years till the point of being the legal categories by the "Convenio Europeo de Paisaje". The triunph of this kind of approaches shows the necesity of changing the most used models of researchment. Completely a different way of working from the one we used to use, which in Toledo´s case, is necessary to start with an project called: Estudio de los paisajes culturales de la ciudad de Toledo: los cigarrales.
