Abstract
Two adult Great Reed Warblers trapped repeatedly between June and September 1997 were found to be initiating a complete moult in the breeding area. It is suggested that these birds might ultimately have completed their moult, or interrupted it, in the breeding area, or maybe have initiated auturnn migration in active cornplete rnoult.
