Abstract
After a methodic study of the architectonic ornamental remains that we attribute to the tardy-republican, first-Augusteo period, it can be concluded that the first Astigi's "monumenta/itation" occurred in a very early time. The existence of a temple with huge dimensions and great nobility elements imputable to other buildings becomes apparent. Most of the pieces are made of limestone rock (although we discover the use of the marble from the very beginning) and prove an ennoblement desire and a work, that tell us about the assimilation of Rome mode/s and that demonstrate the eventual existence of itinerary workshops.
