Abstract
Playing video games is ever more easy and accesible, so the number of gamers increases every day. The new formats, easy downloading, and variety of compatible devices and platforms like smartphones, tablets, smart-TVs, PCs and game consoles make it possible. Through casual game people can acquire and develop both abilities and basic skills to activate multiple intelligences, transforming these free time in a space of informal, intuitive and easy learning, take advantage of its attractive qualities such as interactivity and connectivity able to increase its inmersive and motivational ability. Specifically, this study analyzes the educational potencial of video game Farm Heores Saga, a game of logical puzles based on the metaphor of the farm, available on free app for multiple platforms and through Facebook. Additionally, present study identifies the different intelligences —defined from Theory of Multiple Intelligences of Gardner (2010)— which helps to activate the game. In addition, the technical and aesthetic features of the game that influence the learning process are described.
