Zusammenfassung

The project focuses on the use of audio-video support for learning content related to the culture of Ger-man-speaking countries (Landeskunde). It is aimed at second-year students of Culture and Society BI of the Degree in Translation and Interpreting (German) and of the Double Degree in Translation andInterpreting (German) and International Relations of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla. Thesyllabus of the subject deals with geographical, historical, political, economic and cultural aspects of theGerman-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The project, therefore, aims to implementan active methodology centred on the students, providing them with an effective tool such as the didac-tic video, so that they acquire some solid basic knowledge and subsequently go deeper into subjectsof special interest. The project aims to innovate in teaching and learning through audiovisual support, which is increasingly incorporated into the teaching methodology, but almost always in a passive way.In this project, the main objective is that the students themselves, organised in groups, create shortvideos to facilitate the learning of the contents of the subject, which is structured in three content blocks:Geography, Politics and History. In the course of the project, the students also have the opportunity tocomplement the competences of the German language subjects that have to be taken in parallel in thecorresponding degree programmes. The acquisition of knowledge about the German-speaking coun-tries and the learning of the various strategies enables the acquisition of translation and interpretingskills. Furthermore, the project is aimed at promoting teaching innovation in relation to an online tea-ching and learning environment, since it is based both on the complete adaptation of the methodologyto asynchronous online teaching and on the autonomous development of study material for the subject. Finally, the project adapts flexibly to the various scenarios envisaged for the COVID-19 health emer-gency, as it is developed in both a face-to-face and online teaching and learning context.
