Resum

New records of Orthetrum nitidinerve (Sélys, 1841) (Odonata: Libellulidae) in Cordova are reported. New records of this rare species are of faunistic interest, especially because of the scarcity of recent records. This research provides a third population in a very anthropic habitat. The rising of the maximum temperatures in spring has also coincided with the emergence of Sympetrum sinaiticum Dumont, 1977 (Odonata: Libellulidae), another rare species occurring in Andalusia. The first records of Cephalota maura (Linnaeus, 1758) (Coleoptera: Carabidae) for the province of Cordova are presented, especies also associated to banks of minor water masses with halophytic macrophytes present in the Sevillian-Cordovan countryside.
