Abstract
The Angelic Militia or the Brotherhood of the Cingulum of St. Thomas Aquinas is an interesting Dominican congregation that still exists in various convents of the Dominican order. It was very appreciated during the modern period in Europe and America, becoming a benchmark regarding moral concerns surrounding as chastity, an essential and imperative virtue not only for the clergy but for laypeople too. These were in Seville at least the confraternities from the San Pablo convent and the Santo Tomás school. In this article, we offer a brief approach to the case of Seville.
