Resum

The interest of the study is the analysis of skiing and the improvement of its performance. The main objective is to determine the kinematic cause that determines the performance of skiers in the slalom test. Method: 14 skiers of the Cota 2000 club participated, separated into two groups, 7 advanced level and 7 expert level. The skiers made three descents in which two curves were analyzed, one towards each side, in the areas of high, medium and low slope. The angles of inclination, hip angulation, knee angulation and leg angulation were analyzed, as well as their performance taking into account the time taken and the resulting speed. Video cameras placed on each turn were used for registration. The study shows that the groups are homogeneous in terms of their physical characteristics, the BMI being the only variable to show differences. Results; The greater the degree of slope of the track, the greater the angles of inclination and angulation are obtained. Skiers with an expert level achieved greater degrees of inclination and angulation than advanced skiers on different types of slopes, with inclination being the most determining factor over the time it took for skiers to make the descent. The study of the kinematics of the ski conducted in this study confirms that videographic analysis is a good way to analyze the performance of skiers and perform a good reorientation of training.
