Abstract

A reflection is offered on use of pedagogical communication in higher education, includingthe adoption of new technologies as a strategy for the social appropriation of the genderperspective by students, based on a resignification of the knowledge about it. Twoobjectives are identified for this purpose: (a) reflecting on the conclusions of the UniTwin Alicante meeting, whose central theme was “Resignification in the field of gender: acommitment to information, communication, and responsible education”(https://bit.ly/3BD9jN3); and (b) revising and pondering current trends of thought ongender resignification from higher education, according to the results of studies carried outthrough pedagogical and technological innovation research networks. These results shownot only the progress achieved but also the hindrances, especially regarding new ways toaddress the gender perspective, both in higher education and in society as a whole.Likewise, starting from a succinct and humble reflection, an effort is made to suggest newresearch paths and avenues to continue working on new strategies for pedagogicalcommunication and educational didactics to implement and resignify the genderperspective at university.
