Abstract
High schools with students from different cultural background and vulnerable conditions require financial resources, materials, and technological tools that may contribute to better learning conditions; also, a strong pedagogical commitment is required. Following a qualitative and descriptive research study, semi-structured interviews were conducted. Focal groups were organized in which teachers and lead teachers were included. Data was collected from four high schools located in the region of the Araucanía (Chile). Results show that technical high schools do not have curriculum projects and leadership is vague. This influences in teacher attrition.
